BrainStreek Privacy Policy

BrainStreek ("the app") is published by KB PLATFORMS LLC, 12 Oak St, Bayport, NY 11705, USA ("we", "us").

What We Collect

• Username. The name you choose so friends can find and challenge you. It is visible to other players, including in weekly league standings.
• Game data. Your levels, stars, answers, timings, scores, streaks, League Points, challenges and friends list. We use it to check scores are real, run leagues and challenges, and show your progress.
• Gameplay statistics. Which puzzles were answered right or wrong, how long they took, and when the app was opened. We use this only to fix bad puzzles and balance difficulty. Puzzle reports you send are stored with the puzzle.
• Anonymous account ID. The app signs you in anonymously. We do not ask for your email, phone number, real name or password.
• Error reports. If the app hits an unexpected error, it sends us the error details, the screen you were on, the app version and your iOS version, linked to your anonymous account ID. We use this only to fix bugs.
• Notification token. If you turn on notifications, we store a device token so we can send you game alerts (friend requests, challenges, league results). You can turn this off any time.

Ads. BrainStreek is free and shows ads through Google AdMob and the ad networks that work with it. To show and measure ads, these companies may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads.

The first time, iPhone asks whether BrainStreek may track you. If you say no, you still get ads, but they will be less relevant. You can change this any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not give your username or game data to advertisers.

How We Use It

To run the game, verify scores, run leagues, challenges and friends, send the notifications you turned on, improve puzzles, and keep the game fair and secure.

Where It Is Stored

Game data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase, in the United States. Notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service. Ads are delivered through Google AdMob (Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads).

Sharing

Your username, level progress and League Points are visible to other players in your league and to your friends. Results images are only shared if you choose to share them. Ad data is handled as described under Ads. Beyond that, data is shared only with the service providers above, or if required by law.

Your Choices

• Change your username any time in the app (Me tab).
• Allow or stop ad tracking in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Turn notifications on or off in the app (Me tab) or in iPhone Settings.
• Delete your account and all of its data any time: Me tab > Delete account. This is permanent.
• You can also email us to ask about or delete your data.

Children

BrainStreek is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
